This is too short visioned outlook for me. I was hanging on to him anywhere I had him because he can be a league winner when he comes back. They have no reason to rush him back with Mason and Deebo covering in his absence. They will let him take the time to get healthy and then he can come back and lead you to a championship. I ain't worried long term!
I made these comments before the IR news. I agree people missed out on value now. Once he missed week 1 with the Achilles issue, I would have traded him. I'm not a doctor but understand you need pain mgmt to help heal the issue that takes atleast a month. But I agree with you now.... his value dropped tremendously.
I think his value took the hit at the very moment the injury was announced. It is like that with every injury. It gets announced and people are either willing to take the risk or they aren't. Either way, their trade value takes an immediate hit and they are being sold at discount. So my argument is for both before and after the IR announcement.

I agree 100% I just wished I drafted mason as well in my FFPC league but hopefully I can stay in the hunt for the playoffs !!
We had this debate in a thread the other day. Everyone was really underselling this injury
