Well ... last week ... y'all said start Murray ... I did ... he shit the bed AGAIN. So, WHO this week : That little shit vs SF or Darnold vs Jets ??? And, Bowers on a team going down the drain, or, Taysom in his usual Swiss Army Knife role ???
EVERYONE said ... "Start Murray over Darnold" ... Murray 13pts, Darnold 30 ... so now I'm sitting at 1-3. Murray now has less than 20 pts in 3 of his 4 games. I call that a BUST ... and precisely WHY I'm 1-3.
-
Darnold has been the only consistent QB this year. As bad as it has been for Murray, he is still a top 10 QB, which really just shows how bad QBs have been across the league this season!
Who in their right mind would have said that Darnold would be a better fantasy asset than Mahomes, Hurts, Allen, Murray, Daniels, Prescott, Jackson, etc., etc. Not a chance. Went undrafted in every single one of my leagues.
So many big time players that are not performing consistently. I was the favorite in 2 dynasty leagues that I am now setting at 0-4. The top teams in the league from year-to-year are all in the bottom half and the lesser teams are all setting at the top. Too many injuries and unpredictable performances...

-
I have been PROJECTED to win all 4 weeks, 3 of them by 30 plus ... and I'm gonna be 1-3 after tonight.
-
Yup, that is EXACTLY how it is going for me. I am projected to win by 30-40 points and end up losing by 20+. I have built fantastic rosters and they just aren't performing.
-
That's exactly my story , too ... Corey. Great rosters ... suffering a 2 pt loss this week ... as that p o s Murray posts up 13 ... while looking at Sammy notching 30.
-
Who do you THINK, if either of them ... will put up STRONG numbers out of the KC backfield this week ... STEELE or HUNT ???
I am HOPING for a strong performance from one or both of them in the next game or two ... as I would like to trade them ... even BOTH of them in a package ... to fill my only shortcoming in my roster - a TE2. Do either of these guys turn in a "I have to have him" (from another MGR) performance ???
-
I think they go with Steele but try and sprinkle in some Hunt to see how he looks. I am staying clear and away from that backfield at all cost if I can there Geezer. If i had to choose I'd be going with Steele in this one given his current role. I see them easing Hunt in. This is a MESS
-
-
I'm with @Grindberg 100% on this one. You might need a couple weeks to let hunt increase his role before he has a performance you can sell high off of
-
-
I don't think either will put up the numbers to be fantasy relevant outside of suuuuuuper deep leagues
EVERY week ... I leave points on my bench. This week ... I have both COOPER and losivas sitting ... even tho' the former found his stride, and, the latter LEADS HIS TEAM in TDs. And, both go up against defenses that allow a lot of fantasy points to WRs. But, who do I sit to get these guys in my lineup - Lamb (already played) ???, NO. Harrison ??? , Possibly, as The Flea can be quite underwhelming. Rashee ??? Maybe. Mahomes targets different guys every week. Metcalf ??? Geno throwing vs Burrow (to losivas). Can anyone make an argument for sitting one of these latter three, Sunday ... in favor of Cooper or losivas ??? I guarantee ya's ... I'll leave points on my bench, AGAINNNNNNN !!!!!!
-
Again, agreeing with @Grindberg here. Rashee and Marv are must starts. I hate that we can’t trust Cooper, so I’d also go metcalf
-
I wouldn't bench any of those guys for Cooper or Iosivas. If you don't like leaving points on the bench like that maybe put a package together to tier up one of you other positions
-
Looking Ahead Here ... I have Brooks & Chubb on my IR. They will be coming off, I'll have to make a move to keep one or both of them. I currently have Henry, Conner, Benson, Spears and Steele as active RBs. Would you keep either Brooks or Chubb, or, let them go to waivers ??? If so, who would you cut to make room for them ???
-
Good input. Thank You. I dropped Parkinson to get Steele. Barring injury to Bowers, I won’t need a TE until his Week 10 Bye. But, at some point, I’ll have to make a decision on Chubb & Brooks.
-
Steele definitely first option to drop. After that, maybe you have a wr you could drop for the other instead of one of those rbs. Or trade one of those guys to someone who wants to stash them
-
Chubb is a must keep. Steele will prove droppable. Monitor Spears' health. Brooks may have more value if the Panthers offense performs better under Dalton (but that's a BIG "if"...) Keep Benson as your handcuff to Conner. That offense is going places (more often than not, the endzone.)
So ... after a 0-1 start ... posted up 194 points this week to move up from the bottom to 4th Place. Here's my QUESTION for y'all ...
Would you TRADE Amari Cooper or Tajae Spears for Rashid Shaheed ???
Cooper and losivas are my bench WRs. Spears is expendable (? I think ? ) ... as I have Benson ... and Brooks & Chubb sitting on IR.
-
Would yas trade Cooper for Indy’s Alec Pierce ???
Is Cleveland going to be a playoff team with their 18 PPG QB ??? Would Pierce be a better asset ??? My general philosophy is to roster good players on good teams. But, I’m not sure either of these WRs fit that model. Pierce, tho’ … is young and upcoming. THOUGHTS ???
-
Spears for Shaheed I'm ok with. I'm not giving up on Cooper yet. I also definitely would rather have Shaheed than Pierce.
-
I'd go with Darnold. But, I'm going to say go with your gut so we aren't blamed again hahaha
Smart answer!
Not overly optimistic about Darnold going overseas to play the Jets in London especially after that injury. Plane ride could cause swelling.
Give me Kyler in a divisional matchup
Taysom also sustained an injury and could be iffy to count on. As bad as the Raiders are. Gotta go with Brock!
100%
Are you talking about his knee? Is that still a thing?
I'm sticking with Murray. And Bowers is a no brainier to me over hill
