I am saying no here just because it seems to becoming more and more normal and the teams are allowing it to happen. If it was affecting their draft stock then they probably wouldn’t be doing it.
Instead, they can hold their own day, on their terms, with the players they are familiar with, and these NFL teams show up like it’s all fine and dandy.

I don’t think so. Dude put up Barry Sanders numbers. He doesn’t have anything to prove at this point. Would it be cool if he did? Sure, but it’s the new norm for “elite talents”

It doesn't, but it should. Why not participate? Feel like the top guys are trying to hide something by not showing up.

Like most things, I don’t think we can paint with a broad brush. For guys that are seemingly solidified in their draft stock, why would you chance injury or a team’s overreaction to some metric?

No for me, however that doesn't stop others from making it matter more.
I do think it can help with some vividness bias- Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders not throwing.
Jaxson Dart will throw. If Dart throws darts that will have some glow effect for him. Not a detriment to Ward and Sanders as they've 'gotten the word,' but also a spot that can only help Dart and other QB's.
I advise to let the Combine inform more, but not inform all. If the combine makes for breaks your eval. then the initial eval. was likely fickle in first place.
