Week 12 Frick Ems (Droppable Players in Redraft)

As the wise philosopher, Snoop Dogg, once stated, "Drop it* like it's hot."

*your useless roster cloggers on your bench

Without further ado, the Week 12 Frick Ems.

The See Ya Late-IRs

Gabe Davis (26% rostered) - I HOPE you weren't rostering him, but if for some strange reason you were, it's bye bye time.

Good as Gone

Nick Chubb (88% rostered) - I don't see a scenario where I can play Chubb again this year. He's been sluggish in his return (as expected) and doesn't see the field in negative game scripts... will the Browns have a positive game script ROS?

CJ Stroud (93% rostered) - Last week, we had him on the hot seat. This week, we send him on his way. Good real football player, not doing enough in fantasy. Still two really strong matchups upcoming, but he's not worth the headache.

Pat Freiermuth (50% rostered) - Pat is the latest TE to fall victim to Art Smith. What was once thought as a path to a Top 2 target opportunity has turned into 6 straight weeks of 2-3 targets. We love consistency, but it's consistently not enough.

Hot Seat

Tyler Lockett (70% rostered) - With JSN breaking out and DK back on the field, Lockett is being squeezed out of being a top 2 option for Seattle. He's still getting the snaps, but the targets are disappearing. Without injury, I don't see a path to relevance.

Travis Etienne (89% rostered) - Even stink would say that the Jaguars stink. Even with being a pass catcher, Etienne doesn't command enough targets to be trusted week to week. Holding on only because he is a clear starter, and maybe a miracle happens post bye week.

Jaylen Waddle (90% rostered) - I was willing to hold through the Tua-free weeks, but Waddle has been one of the biggest disappointments in 2024. He has seen 7+ targets in 1 game this season. The only thing that has me holding is the injury concern of Tyreek's wrist.

Who are y'all saying Frick Em to this week?

    • Some of these players are so sad to see on the list ๐Ÿ˜ญ Unfortunately, I am too stubborn to drop most of them! Hell, I am picking up Pittman in leagues that people have dropped him, just holding out hope I guess!

      • I feel that in my soul. It's tough to see them go, but I'd rather get some lottery tickets where possible.

      • Love Chubb, drafted him all over the place, but yeah, he's basically an open roster spot for me at this point, first to go if I need an addition.
